   Hello there,

   As a medical professional, I am not a huge supporter of the natural remedies… it’s not to say they don’t work, they just don’t work as well as Rx methods.

   Here is a run down on acne:
   Acne is an infection of your hair follicles by P-Acne bacteria. The P-Acnes use the sebum (oil) in your follicles as “food” and cause inflammation. This is why your pimples are red and may have puss. There are several over-the-counter remedies, however, I recommend that you go see a Doctor for an antibiotic. You can get an oral antibiotic (something like Minocycline) or a topical cream (Clindsol). This will kill the P-Acne bacteria and should clear up your acne. If you have large, cysts that are under the skin, you may have cystic acne. If this is the case you should see a dermatologist and ask about Accutane. Cystic acne may lead to scaring and should not be taken likely!

   There is no cure, regardless of what anyone tells you. The best way for it to improve is to stop touching your face and let your body clear it out on its own.

   Using a daily 3 step approach of cleansing, toning and moisturizing is extremely important. This allows you to control the amount of sebum (oil) produced by the skin and to keep your pores clear.

   You need to couple this with a herbal acne supplement to counter attack the acne at the root of the problem and to suppress future breakouts.

   I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.

   I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

   I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

   Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it.
