Often called the Medicine Plant or the First Aid Plant; Aloe Vera is a member of the lily family. It is not as some people think a cactus. It has no real fragrance and is a succulent perennial; its fleshy tissues conserve moisture. Aloe grows wild in the tropics and sub-tropics. There are as many as 300 different species of Aloe but there is only one Aloe Vera or true Aloe. It is this species with its special properties which is most desirable for use in cosmetics.

Hey, im a 18 year old male, with very oily skin and hair, i recently was putting on some acne cream and a couple of drops landed on the upper and bottom eyelids of my right and left eye.. today i woke up and they’re swollen and stuff, like they dont look as big as they normally do.. I was wondering should i apply some aloe vera gel onto my eyelids? It’s 98% natural aloe vera gel,… will that clog the pores of my eyelids and make it even more puffy? If i should apply the aloe vera gel onto my eyelids tonight, how do i clean it off, i doubt i can use my normal facial soap for my eyelids, or can i? Would hot water from a hot shower get the gel off in the morning? So should i apply aloe vera gel on my eyelids,… will it make my eye lids more puffy and thick? If i do apply the gel, how do i remove the gel without harming the delicate skin of the eyelids?

Acne remedies with aloe vera can help greatly in clearing up the distressing condition. Aloe vera is an evergreen plant with leaves full of a clear gel that has more than 200 nutrients and various other advantageous substances like minerals, vitamins, enzymes, polysaccharides, and amino acids. They all work together, so that aloe vera can get healing properties. This is why it has been prized by various cultures all over the globe for centuries now.
Acne comes about because of the skin’s sebum overproduction. In several people, this could lead to clogged pores, which in turn could become a bacterial breeding ground. This then produces chemicals which trigger immune responses that cause those swollen red spots of acne. The aloe vera plant comes with anti-bacterial properties, which can help here. It even acts as anti-inflammation and can soothe the skin. Additionally, the natural astringency of the gel can help alleviate extra oiliness.

i’m 19yrs old …and i’ve had acne since like middle school…..and over time, it’s gotten worse. i’ve tried everything….changed my diet, used tons of products, wasted alots of $, but still no results to curing my acne, and acne scars. i’ve tried clearsil, neutrogena, clean and clear, even Proactiv didn’t work for me…it’s starting to affect my self esteem and confidence. so i started using natural methods to cure acne, such aloe vera, but when i put aloe vera on my face….my face gets really itchy….and red.

I’m dealing with acne scars and a skin condition that makes the skin itchy, flaky and dry.. I know aloe vera and vitamin e is great for the skin.. However, i want to try aloe vera..
Which method would benefit my skin the most? The aloe vera plant, cream/lotion or the all natural juice?
Thanks in advance

i’ve heard that aloe vear treats and prevents pimples, even cystic acne (which is the kind that i have – yuck) and i would try it if i knew it was worth my time.
also, any other acne remedies (preferably easy ones) would be much appreciated. thanks!!!!!!!!!!
