Cystic acne is an external infection caused by bacteria on the smooth skin surfaces. Cystic acne can be noted as a red swollen pustules formed on the skin. The red swollen pustule in the form of a pimple is formed due to the excess deposition of dirt and oil on the skin.
Due to this excess deposit in the skin, the pores gets clogged and henceforth it becomes a dwelling place for bacteria. These bacteria mostly thrive in the larger pores. This excess deposition can be avoided by having a clean skin surface.

Besides normal bumps, I also get these awful painful cystic bumps on my chin, jaw line, and neck. Does anybody have any advice on good ways to take down the swelling and/or hide them? They look disgusting and I don’t even want to leave the house when I have them.
Any preventative measures I could take? It seems once one starts, there’s no stopping it.

One of the most popular products acne patients use when dealing with cystic acne is isotretinoin. This treatment is usually found in leading products like Retin-A, Retinol, and the generic Tretinoin cream. Using isotretinoin products as cystic acne remedies is sometimes a successful pursuit, but you must be very careful when it comes to using these powerful prescriptions.
Let me tell you my experience in using cystic acne remedies like isotretinoin cream. First, when my doctor prescribed Tretinoin cream, he didn’t tell me how to use it, so I just applied it wherever I needed, all across my face and back. What happened? I ended up turning my soft skin (when it wasn’t riddled with acne) into a bed of crocodile scales. It took microdermabrasion and a month of Retinol and moisturizer to fix the damage.

Acne cysts are much like regular acne in how they are formed. However, a cyst is formed when an acne pore gets so clogged it forms a shaped abscess in the skin, creating a painful, swelled, inflamed bump on your epidermis. When this happens, regular acne morphs into cystic acne, resulting in the need for a cystic acne remedy.
When cysts form, you are at a higher risk of getting acne scarring. If you begin to pick, poke, and pry at your cysts, not only will you just make the swelling worse, you’ll also leave scars and increase the cyst’s redness region. So it’s important to keep your fingers away from your cysts – no matter where they’re located on your body.

All of the above cystic acne information not only will help learn how to get rid of acne, but will make you healthier as well.
Topically: After washing with a mild soap, use tea tree antiseptic cream. It can be bought or ordered at a health food store. This acne remedy is very antibiotic, also it is incredibly anti-inflammatory so all the redness and swelling goes down and as a side effect it moisturizes and leaves your skin baby soft. This acne cure can be an absolute miracle for you and it is especially good for after shaving.

Cystic acne is caused by hormonal imbalances and toxicity in our body and it can start with an irritated stomach lining. Eating excess carbs can lead to all those conditions, and your skin can be in better condition on low carb than ever before.
Another thing that can cause breakouts is excessive cardio exercise that leaves your body acidic. That happens when you workout at high intensity and the lactic acid builds up in your body to toxic levels. Depending on the strength of your lymphatic and endocrine systems, this toxicity can take many days to clear out. Antioxidants like Vitamin C can help getting rid of cystic acne, but it is best to workout at lower intensities most of the time.
