i’m gradually changing my products from chemical based to natural, but i would also like to make my own creams and masks. i would like some tips and also, if anyone already had any creams of mask recipes, that would be great.
i’m trying to really focus on getting rid of acne scars.
any help would be appreciated.

Do you know how spots develop? There are two ways, the first is man made. We put a lot of man made treatments onto our skin every day, soaps, cleaners, make up. Our skin is not able to process these treatments and they build up inside pores and follicles. As they build up they collect more grease and dirt and the body reacts by turning them into spots.
The second method is entirely natural. The skin naturally produces a grease called sebum inside hair follicles. This grease, in the right amounts, helps to keep both hair and skin naturally supple. But too much of it leads to a grease build up in the same way as the first example and that in turn leads to a break out in spots.

So here’s the story: I had mild acne. Nothing too bad just a few occasional break outs. So, I went to the dermatologist and he gave me some Tazorac Cream to use. I’ve used it for a long time now, over 5 months, that’s for sure. And I used to use Olay Moisturizer with it and my acne cleared up and the worse I would get was one small zit. But my face would peel and get very dry. I’d have to reapply the moisturizer over and over during school and my face would be white because it takes awhile to absorb into my skin. Then, I went back to the Clinque Moisturizer from the three step system. I did notice I started to break out a little more but I thought that was normal because I got lazy and used Tazorac every one in awhile. I ran out and went back to buy some more but the sales associate told me I broke out because I’m using the wrong kind so she gave me the gel kind. I was still breaking out but it got worse because my skin became very dry and flaky. It itched and it was always peeling. It would burn when I applied the moisturizer.
SO YESTERDAY, I went to the salon and the lady there noticed I was breaking out and suggested Aveeno Cream, but I wasn’t sure if this would help. I also wasn’t sure if this would be good for my face. I applied it last night but then I woke up with a bigger zit and a few new small ones. My mom said this was just the first night, so keep trying.

Is acne something that you had to deal with almost all of your youth? Are you now stuck with the scars? Well if you want to know how you can get rid of those awful red marks then you need to continue reading. There are many things you can do at home which will help you effectively get rid of those unsightly acne scars for good.
The first thing you need to do is begin washing your face more. It is so important that you keep the skin on your face just as clean as anywhere else. The best thing you can use is a nice sensitive bar of soap and face cloth. This will help make sure that your skin does not get irritated. And will help clean out your pores as well as get rid of those red marks.

Please don’t tell me Proactiv, Cetaphil, Clearasil or OXY. I’ve tried these already and some made my skin good but my face got used to it and others dried up my face to much. Home remedies don’t work, like the toothpaste on the pimple one. I’m like really young and prolly going thru puberty but its summer and I want to be able to wear a swimsuit. HELP!
o and I’ve tried some Clinique products… not a good turn out
Biore… Stridex… dries out my face

Dealing w. adult acne sucks – never had too much of a problem w. it in high school but when I turned 20, it was spread out all over. I’ve been using creams, antibiotics, and birth control. My skin routine is an antibiotic soap, sometimes an exfoliating cream, and moisturizer. I make sure to use oil free cream foundation and use this extra clinique moisturizer before applying foundation (since it’s cold, didn’t want skin peeling).
I’ve noticed my skin is an unbalance or mix of a color. Part of it is red, then yellow, and my natural skin color is beige (similar to jessica alba’s skin tone). It just doesn’t look clean or even out, kinda metallic…and its not.one color…I don’t get it…not sure if it’s the acne marks. My acne is okay now, very settled. The only zits i’m getting is the far side of my head (temples) but it’s just 1 or 2.
