I want my skin to look natural, without all the acne please! Is this too much to ask?!?
So i’ve had acne since i was about 10, though recently it has got worse and i am at odds with myself trying to find a foundation and concealer that will WORK for me. I want to look natural, i dont want to look made up, Yet i want to look natural WITHOUT flaws, (i.e redness, acne, acne scarring, purple circles, pores etc) i just want to look NORMAL. I have pretty much terrible skin and i do have differin cream prescribed from my doctor to get rid of the acne, i’ve had it about 2 months and no results as yet; i’m still waiting. I’m just so annoyed at my skin, people say “oh acne clears up!” but clearly (mind the pun) it DOSNT. I’ve had acne for 6 years now and i just want to look natural, i’m realy pale as well so its exceedingly difficult to find a foundation and concealer that is light enough, but will cover my unsightly blemishes. i.e a light enough foundation, without the sheer coverage alot of them have. I recently tried clinique’s foundation, perfectly real, and it works ok, but the lightest shade they have is still a bit orange on me! I’m so pale that no foundation, even in the lightest colour will blend in with my natural skin, its always like i’m wearing a mask, i dont want to be. I want to be able to cover my horrible spots and acne scars but still let my natural skin shine through. I want to look natural and blemish free, even though i probably never will be, as acne flows through my family like fish down a stream. It’s so aggravating. I also use clinique’s 3 step, i have combination, acne prone skin and current spots i do not wish to feed with any oily products. Without makeup i tend to look like a zombie. exceedingly pale, (having red hair dosn’t help, it washes me out) purple circles are more noticable under my eyes, i also have an eyelid skin problem, which means the skin there is red, itchy and sometimes flaky and painful. Red areas on my face that are outlined even more by my pale skin, cystic acne, acne scarring and enlarged pores.
Bear in mind i have had this kind of problem for 6 years now. I have only recently started using makeup to combat the situation, and it hasn’t improved, hasn’t nessicarily got worse, but no better, so if anyone says that it’s the makeup, then i have to say that you are incorrect, as when do 10 year olds wear makeup? When do 10 year olds have acne for that matter? i was a freak!
Please help me in my search for natural, relatively blemish free skin, i am growing weary with searching now, it’s very annoying!
