I still need to get rid of my zits. I’ve tried pretty much everything on the market, and only recently have I had what I believe is an allergic reaction. I’ve used products with salicylic acid before (such as Acnescription from Bath and Body Works, which worked well, but was too expensive), and when I began used the Clinique Acne Solutions, I had the most severe reaction to any product I’ve ever tried before.
My question is: are there any natural, inexpensive treatments for acne? No, I will not listen to anyone suggesting toothpaste (tried it). I use Noxzema, which has no negative effects on my skin, but it doesn’t work as fast as I need it to. Any suggestions?

I’m trying to take a more natural approach.
2 times a day (morning/night):
*Baking soda + water as a facial cleanser.
*Apple Cider Vinegar Toner (applied to skin using a cotton pad, also diluted)
Occasionally, I will exfoliate (St. Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish & Blackhead Control).
So, what do you opine? Do you think it will work? Any suggestions, comments, concerns, etc.?

I heard it’s a natural, easy, home remedy that dries out acne spots. I have an ugly pimple on my cheek and I need it gone by Saturday morning.
Is it possible? & Have any of you ever tried this method of cleaning face with apple cider vinegar?
Thanks.

ok i really want to clear my acne up bad. I am so sick of it! I’ve had it constantly for the past two years (I’m 13). It doesn’t look like it’s gonna give up any time soon. Is there anything….ANYTHING i can do to make it go away? I don’t want answers saying oh you should use these over-the counter things or proactive this and Retin-A that. I need some natural ways…Like I know its good to use glycerin based soaps and face washes. But what else? Please help, I’m DESPERATE to clear my face up!

I have done research on the subject and I have come to conclude that your diet has a HUGE impact on the condition of your skin. Here’s my reasoning: the body has a natural immune response to bacteria by inflaming the skin and fight the infection by providing white blood cells and raising the core body temperature to destroy the bacteria.
However, with proper nutrients and vitamins at your disposal, the oxidation process of the dermal layer of the skin would be significantly reduced due to the abundant supply of anti-oxidant material present. Therefore, bacteria would have less chance and time to multiply. What are your thoughts?

For all those who love their beautiful and radiant skin, there are some very simple yet very effective ways to keep that skin clear and acne-free as well. Acne or acne vulgaris in medical parlance is a skin condition characterized by the eruption of small to medium sized lesions on the surface of the skin. Usually the result of increased oil production, acne often appears on the skin on the face during adolescence and tends to go away on its own.
Adult acne on the other hand, is also the result of increased production of sebum or natural oil from tiny glands in the skin called the sebaceous glands. What usually happens is that the pores get clogged and the whole thing simply erupts. It is a chain reaction- inflammation follows after the clogging, and the anaerobic bacteria begin to spread on the surface of the face.

Dealing with acne is not fun, but finding a remedy might be easier than you think. Take a moment and consider what natural acne remedy might work for you. Going the natural route has many different benefits that you might not be able to get otherwise.
Though we are often told that acne is no big deal, many people feel embarrassed or even humiliated by the acne that they might have. Acne is an issue that is triggered by hormonal changes in the body, and though teenagers are the most common demographic to have it, it is also common for pregnant women and women going through menopause to suffer from it as well.
