I have combination oily/dry skin with acne flaring up from time 2 time. I started using just natural witch hazel, then I moisturize my skin with a lotion that doesn’t clog your pores.
the BEST way to treat your acne is to not eat ANY sugary or fatty foods. these cause oily skin and result in acne. eating foods like cucumbers and apples make your skin healtier. also get as much sunlight as possible without getting burnt.
when you wash your face, use something that has natural extracts, because the vitamin c helps your skin. moisturize after you wash with a water-based moisturizer, not oil based. my acne is almost completely clear, and i used to have it realllllly bad
For a quick fix you can place a warm wet tea bag over the area or a cotton ball dipped in lemon juice (don’t use lemon juice if you have a sensitive skin. Check out http://usefulinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.

Antibiotics, or Accutane, have been proven to work, which is why doctors and/or dermatologists often recommend them. Nonetheless, they do have their disadvantages, or in other words, their side effects. Side effects of Accutane have been said to include depression, drier skin/eyes, possible birth defects in pregnant woman, and possibly suicide. Women who take Accutane should not get pregnant for at least 3 months after taking Accutane.

Many of the topical acne products contain ingredients in them which include salicylic acid, which have been shown to lower the amount of acne by unclogging the pores that are blocked. Some other topical treatments include acne cleaners, which get rid of acne though antiseptic properties.
Topical acne treatment products have been proven to work quite well with mild cases of acne, although they are generally not effective with more severe acne.
