What is best product that can get rid of my acne problem on my face, chest and back?
Please don’t tell me Proactiv, Cetaphil, Clearasil or OXY. I’ve tried these already and some made my skin good but my face got used to it and others dried up my face to much. Home remedies don’t work, like the toothpaste on the pimple one. I’m like really young and prolly going thru puberty but its summer and I want to be able to wear a swimsuit. HELP!
o and I’ve tried some Clinique products… not a good turn out
Biore… Stridex… dries out my face

Use a product i use called (Benzoyl) it works all the time.
I like the cream better than the soap.
Go to a dermatologist. They see these probems daily..n the fee is very small.
clinique is amazing. it smells good, your skin wont get tired of it, its moisturizing, and the best thing of all is there is soooo many different kinds for so many different skin types. good luck!
Doxycycline. One trip to the dermatologist and you can ask for multiple refills. It should clear you totally up in about two weeks, and if well maintained (cleaning face), they shouldn’t come back.
u should try from bath and body works, this tea tree oil cleanser, its natural and it works really well. Good Luck! and don’t worry too much about ur acne, it’ll go away, but just to let ya know another thing that can cause acne is stress, so don’t add more stress to urself, especially about ur acne and swimsuit, or whatever.
I am sorry but I don’t know the brand but I think it starts witha B. It is like these little cloth things that u put on your nose and forehead and they remove blackheads and stuff. Stridex sorta works too but it sorta dries your face out if you are not used to it. Sorry I couldn’t be any help!
I use –Noxema–. (i think thats how you spell it.)
i was really tempted to write ‘no longer being a teenager and passing 20, but that was just my sense of humor or lack of. the answer to this conundrum, is nivea i don’t know if u can by it in America(excuse my ignorance) also p,g tips or any tea, cold or warm if you have a cup of tea once cooled down put on spots really wish u luck only last piece of advice is don’t put too much crap on your skin, seeps through your pours not good.
I had BAD acne with bleeding and tried the stuff you mentioned. What causes acne is an infection in the glands that produce the oil for your skin. How do you get the infection? Touching the face with dirty hands puts bacteria on the skin and into the oil glands.
Avoid touching your face if at all possible, and make sure your hands are CLEAN if you do.
DON’T squeeze any pimple. This forces the puss and bacteria into the surrounding tissue, causing severe redness, irritation, and possibly more pimples.
Avoid excessive washing of the face, or using any product that dries the skin. The pores of your skin are meant to breath. Look for products that are labeled ‘non-comedogenic’.
Main Entry: non·com·e·do·gen·ic
Pronunciation: -”käm-&-dO-’jen-ik
Function: adjective
: not tending to clog pores (as by the formation of blackheads)
Moisturize. Yes, moisturize. Use a simple face wash, pat the skin dry (but still moist), and apply moisturizer. This will keep the pores open and not block the flow of oil and contaminants. It will also help form a barrier to dirt and bacteria until the oils naturally rise to the surface to protect your skin. The oil that’s there is supposed to be there; DON’T WASH EXCESSIVELY! Many acne problems are exacerbated by products that over-dry or by excessive washing. Wash and moisturize before bed and in the AM, say, after your shower.
If you have REALLY oily skin, you may need to wash and moisturize 3-4 times a day (or as often as you feel the need, but not too much!). But look on the bright side! Your skin (your face) will look much YOUNGER in 30-40 years than your friends who don’t have this ‘problem’. I still have very oily skin on my face, forehead, chest and shoulders, and I’m often mistaken for someone in my early 30′s.
I did this and in about two weeks almost ALL of my acne cleared up. If I hadn’t, I’m sure I would have ended up a ‘crater-face’ with visible acne scars, but my regimine all but stopped my acne. I still get an occasional zit and I’m 44 years old, so don’t expect miracles like on TV.
If you have the urge to squeeze or pop your pimples, try picking the top off first. This is much less damaging to the surrounding tissue.
Check out some books by Dr. Perricone. He is a dermatologist with some great advice on how diet affects your skin, and on using suppliments to help clear your skin.
Good luck!!
